Lost track of time this week. Work, Haiti, Run Coach, Evals, & fighting off a Cold.
We have much going on at Fitness 121 in the coming weeks. A years worth of goals just happening at once. Fitness 121 will be getting a fresh coat of paint in the coming weeks along with a little reconfiguring of our exercise equipment. (The Best never Rests!) Also, we are bringing on board one of the finest Pilates Instructors on the East Coast "Doug Saunders."
Doug Saunders Bio: Doug brings 10+ years of industry experience to Fitness 121. In addition to being a Topflight Pilates Teacher, he is certified as a postoperative Breast Cancer exercise specialist. He has spent the last 4 years teaching other Pilates Instructors as well as lecturing around the country on the importance of staying active after breast cancer surgery. He is an Instructor Trainer for "Pilates on 5th" in NYC; helping prospective instructors prepare for their exams. He is an excellent addition to our already outstanding facility.
There will be more details to follow but if you have ever wanted to try Pilates - 2010 will be the year.
"It's not just Pilates, it's Fitness 121 Pilates."
In other news we have been approached by one of the local Law Firms to provide Fitness Training & Wellness programs to their Partners & Associates. This is obviously very exciting as it allows us the opportunity to help other companies improve their TEAM.
Also, you may see quite a few more people running on the treadmills the next couple of weeks. I am coaching 7 new people to run the NYC 1/2 Marathon on March 21st.
Finally, we are in the planning stage of starting our 1st ever "Biggest Winner" contest.
A 6 week weight loss challenge made up of teams of 5. The winning team will win (split) $2000.
Details to follow-Stay Tuned!
Great Weekend Everybody.
